Pastor Matt Vanderbilt
He has been married to Meg, an entrepreneur of her own, for over 25 years. She is the Executive Director for Bit of Hope Ranch, a 501(c)(3) in Gaston County that has been helping hurting children, horses and families for over 15 years. They have 3 amazing children–Emmaus, Elijah and Elana, and now a daughter-in-law, Hannah.

• Has been following Jesus Christ since 1991
• Served on the staff at Bethlehem Church in Gastonia, NC, for over 15 years.
• Created High 5 Sports, which peaked at around 1000 children per year before he transitioned into leading the Adult Ministry.
• Bethlehem grew to over 2500 people on 3 campuses and 6 worship services while he was there, and he was integral in helping people get connected into the life of the church, find their place to serve & join a small group.
Life is a journey and Matt enjoys spending his free time with his family, heading out to Crowder’s Mountain for a hike or run and getting out on the basketball court when he has a chance. And of course he bleeds maize & blue as a lifelong fan of the Michigan Wolverines.
